Golfers, favorite club?

Next to my family, if you mess with my Calloway Big Bertha or my 5 iron I am pissed

my foot club ...5 iron would have to be my "go to" club.

I have that same driver in 8.5 PP.

Favorite iron is 7 iron.

8.5? Damn you like the low trajectory (sp) I want an 11 degree, a little more forgiving. Anyone ever hit a hippo? Not an animal mind you. A friend has one and I swear that thing is like a cinderblock on a broom handle

It has a lower loft but I hit my drives on the upswing. I usually achieve the same height as people with higher lofted clubs but get greater distance because hitting it on the upswings produces more top spin. About once every round I will hit a low screamer.

anyone know of place where you can try the the clubs before you buy? I need a new driver since I broke mine and got to drunk to remember to get it out of the golf cart.

Most courses have club reps who schedule times to be there. call them to find out when.

Golf village in Pineville has a driving range and will let you take demo clubs out on their range.

Thats what I'm talking about..go there and hit some clubs. Find the one I like and then buy it on Ebay for half the price

When buying new clubs, I look on the net and find something cheap. I then print it out and take it to Pro Golf Discount. They will typically match any reasonable price and you dont have to go through the hassle of having it shipped.
