    Not crazy about this. He was overstretched as a 16 game starter, but I liked him as a backup and a special teamer. Safety is once again a perilously thin position entering a season.

    It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I'm with B&B about not wanting him starting, but why not keep him as a backup? It's not like we need the cap space to sign our draft class.

    Maybe Elder will have a multipurpose role as a backup corner and safety. IDK. I don't want to see Colin Jones playing defense again.
