Barthalamew ran a 4.55, together with his performance on the lift, he could be the best pure blocking fullback availible. Still a 4th round guy, but at least he showed some zip.

Spurrier showed up a day early in person to watch both the Pro Day, and some of the Vols spring practices.

Speaking of workout warriors, even though he elected to stay in school, Kelley Washington was impressive. Speed, strength, power, did something like 31 reps on 225 bench press. The guys a David Boston waiting in the wings.

Yea, I thought Washington was even more impressive than Stallworth last season. The WR prospect I really believe will be the next great one is Andre Johnson from Miami (Fla). He is an awesome talent. Top 5 good next yr IMO.

Anyway, Henderson is dropping entirely too low IMO. Someone is gonna get one hellva player mid-round 1 if this keeps up. Hard to understand. Another guy you hear NOTHING about anymore is Wendall Bryant. Those two dudes are absolute studs that most years would go top 5 easy.

BTW: Do you and mVm still think there is no way Ryan Sims is going in round 1. hehe.

Well, even then, I said Sims wasn't a first rounder if Joseph and Kennedy come out, as I expected them to.

But yeah, even if they had, Sims has worked his way up. I'd take him over Hayneswoth personally, as Albert PLAYS like a one-gapper even though he has two gap frame. I still think Sims purely a one gap guy, a Chris Hovan clone.

The funny thing is, last week Kiper had Sims dropping out of the top 15, giving no reason other than to prop up some other players. Somehow I was able to sneak a peak in ESPN and see his top 25.

Anyway, I don't see Henderson getting out of the top 10./ Kansas City seemed to like him, Minnesota, Jacksonville, the Cowboys. They have all shown a lot of intrest.

I still take Haynesworth first. And yes, if you keep Kennedy and William Joseph in this draft he's not a first rounder. Add the fact that Edwards/Brown are falling fast, and Sims could go top ten.

Stallworth's combine and workouts have boosted his stock considerably. Especially considering Bryant and Reed seem to be slipping. I'd still put Leslie and Gaffney ahead of Stallworth with Marquis Walker right behind him.

He might get taken higher on this workout. I don't know if I'd rate him higher. The injuries and fumbles stick out in my mind.

Gaffney has his own problems off fields, and with drops, and posted a slower 40 time.

This could be a really good receiver class if they get pushed to the right teams, but right now the value's all screwy.

Overstreet said he's talked to a lot of teams, but curiously, both the Texans and the Ravens have expressed intrest in him as a linebacker.

That may be his best fit. I can see the Ravens taking him, perhaps late in round 2.
