Panthers vs Saints Running Commentary

Yeah, trap game and all of that. It's the NFL. The Broncos had to beat the Raiders 10-7.



I want to see the offense kick it up a notch. Bryce needs to play better in order for this team to compete for the playoffs.



My only concern over Shough is the lack of real NFL tape. The Saints only had the ball 17 minutes against the Rams, so who the hell knows if this guy can play or not. Derrick Brown being iffy for Sunday isn't great, since I know the Saints will want to run the ball and the Panthers run defense is shitty when DB isn't involved.

Saints got rid of a WR before trade deadline and also a OT, so I expect a dumbed down offense with much running

Still coming back from a bad injury if he runs stats on the panthers there's probably bigger problems.

 

They're working Taysom into the offense more, from what I can tell. It's still a thing down there. It's kinda goofy, especially at his age, but it's still something you have to account for.


Apparently Neal from KU is slowly stealing the RB1 job from Kamara. I liked him in the draft. Physical, no bullshit runner, very similar to Dowdle. It's basically a 50/50 split right now. Kamara is still their passing down preference.



I'm quite happy about the defense not having to account for Shaheed, although he might terrorize us later in the year with Seattle. I was hoping those sodomites would trade him to an AFC team.

 

so the question on whether our 1st round WR will play is concerning.

I don't trust the Panthers to bring their A game, if they had one, to play the Saints, who have always been a thorn for us.

If TMac is out w Hammy, then XL and his bumbling ways will have to lead the WR corps
