Ya got any unusual and/or obscure recordings?
Besides this one, I've got an old 45 of Tony Bennett doing "Blue Suede Shoes" somewhere round the house. [..Suede Shoes was one of Preseley's earlier hits.]

on vinyl or wax? Nah, not really. Only have 4 records actually

Nah, don't hafta be vinyl or wax. There must be a "winner" cd that somebody put out that bombed, or limited editions that are rare.

[Actually as far a obscure goes, my entire cd collection would be considered obscure by most of the folks around here. :) Not that there's anything wrong with that...]

Anybody remember this "jewell?"

I know the song. Almost bought a Bert Kampfert album just to see if they really were "madd hits"

I sold back most of my really horrid shit to a used CD store.

Now ya see, Mag, by selling all your horrid shit you can't post crap like me and be boring and annoying.

Just makes it harder to remember.
There was a lot of country in that "sell" box. Some newer Barry White. Boys II Men. At least I didn't buy the Blackstreet album like my roommate.

Of course, those weren't obscure. I've got an album of Jack Van Impe's, in vinyl, that I bought as a gag. Bert Kampfert woulda been on the list. Goodwill sells the oddest things.

I'm proud VoR was able to put together one complete sentence, punctuated and all.
