read this and be amazed, dumbfounded, and befuddled metallica sues

i know there's some people on this site who play instruments, guitar myself, and i find this completely asinine. i haven't heard the song in question, but if it sounds like a particular metallica song then i see no problem suing, but to sue because of the chord progression is ridiculous. I don't know how many songs i know that use the D A G progression. Should CCR sue somebody for that???

as much as I used to like those guys they are total kooks these days. I dont even play music but this sounds pretty cheesy. the new metallica sucks ass anyway. Im sure Slayer could sue Meatllica for the same thing.

in cali that aint considered stupid. they are sue happy out there. i am not saying i agree with them. am just saying hell, they can twist that however way they want, bottom line...

what i suspect is this: metallica is on their way out and is prolly hurting for money. either that or they just want some publicity. whatever it is...i say put out some good tunes and maybe they wont have to sue for cash or attention.
