Hi all,
I recently plugged the wrong cord into the back of my external USB hard drive for my laptop. It's transformer was the wrong voltage/amperage. Now the drive just sits there and blinks. I have changed the USB adaptor itself, but the new adaptor blinks as well, so methinks the drive is toast. I'd sure like to recover the data off the drive before I declare it DOA. Anyone know how? I doubt the data is smoked, just the controller probably.

It's always nice to witness a new low.
