Rivera probably lasts the season only because there's no one you would feel confident about handling the interim role. A new GM will pick a new coaching staff, though.

Understand why CJ loves the guy that wrote him a phat check. But to call out coaches?

Man, in season two? Fucking Rivera is already losing this team.

Thinking about it, with the timing of this move...it risks Rivera losing the team entirely. Shit can hit rock bottom real fast...this is like a line in the sand, man.

The players are understandably nervous. A new coach wouldn't necessarily change their status, but a new general manager isn't going to be giving out huge contracts just because he drafted them, and a lot of the ones who already got money are going to get cut.

Close, but sadly I see more darkness down there. This team gives up. We're not even in games anymore. Bickering, pointing fingers, our QB loses composure and no coach wants to have a guy who calls out his second year coaches, and the guys who drafted him...things like that can still happen, can further cripple the club for years...

Nah, there's a ways to go before we hit bottom. This feels like hell, because it is. But it's not bottom yet, brother. We're still fighting for wins, because the team has character. That shit can go to hell in a handbasket fast....some things you can't come back from.
