I hear on the radio that his people wanted it more than he did, but I don't know how good that info is.

Prayers to Newton. Hopefully he comes back 100%.

Not sure why so much negativity around Allen / team. He’s just a kid. We’d have thought we were fucked if Cam was hurt.

we need to stop the run more than we need cam. Also - been meaning to pull this up. Brady 2001 stats after stepping in for Bledsoe, who played 9 years as the face of the franchise and #1 overall. He had some tough games. Not trying to compare this as apples to apples - and Bledsoe was a great player - as is Cam. But this kinda shit happens. Considering he’s on the team and winning, and we don’t have to find out how bad he fucking sucks like claussen, jeff Lewis, and all kinds of other problems, I’m liking our situation.

I actually did a similar search/comparison a few weeks ago Meat. The game is much different now. And that NE defense was fucking nasty. So it’s not a true apples to apples. But your point is spot on. We have had some shitty QB situations in the past. You mentioned a few...but let’s not forget the Matt Lytle game vs Tampa in 2001. Or the fact that Testeverde was 42 years old and on his couch before he signed here. And of course, The Brian St Pierre debacle against Baltimore. Kyle is a breath of fresh air compared to them. But I said it before they actually sat Cam down. The problems with this football team and organization reach much farther than QB. I was happy to see Kyle bounce back against a pretty scrappy defense...and the offense put us in position to score 34 points. So that’s a step in the right direction. The back half of the schedule presents even tougher challenges.

You know, there is also this wild possibility that he will start week one in Carolina next year. A lot of irrational eulogies being written out there today. Jesus Christ, he’s healing a Lisfranc injury. Let’s get to the next few months before we start acting like bitches.

This team can absolutely win in the playoffs. They have the league’s best running back who also makes plays in the passing game. Their offensive line is coming on. If you give this defense the slightest of leads, they have an elite pass rush and great turnover play making ability. Coverage units are fantastic. The kicker is adequate. The quarterback is adequate. Greg Olsen lurks. Luke Kuechly lurks.

I’m ready to fucking roll. I study film and watch the games and repeat the process. That’s all you fucking need to do. Focus on the business at hand.

Oh, by the way, the defense matches up very well against our remaining opponents. Jesus Christ, stop sulking and grow the fuck up. Not you guys, just some of these fans in general.

Let’s stop talking about Cam, and Kyle. Let’s talk about this mother fucker. Feed that son of a bitch all the way to Super Bowl 54.

You’ve got a great opportunity ahead of you to chase one of the best stories in team history. Or, they can fold up like a cheap fucking suit and go 7-9. I’m telling you right now, because I have followed this shit like a hawk for 25 years: this team is built for a run.
