It is draft week. Final mocks are due
Since there are hundreds of Big Boards out there, I will go with this one to form my mock.

https://gbnreport.com/65445-2/
Generally, I take guys that are ranked 5 picks before us and 5 after.
Example: Pick 39. From 34-44 ranking guys would be eligible

1. Bryce Young QB
2. Felix Anudike-Uzomah EDGE
3. Jayden Reed WR
4. Kendre Miller RB
4. Trevius Hodges Tomlinson CB
5. Jarrett Peterson C/G

How would you lay it out?

The way our picks fall I do not see an upgrade for a EDGE to put opposite Burns. I think all the solid day 1 EDs will be gone by #39. Damn if pick 39 doesn't seem just as important as #1 overall. I think even Ojulari could easily be gone . .. even if not, I believe that LBs Sanders or Simpson would be more versatile and better value (and better utilized here). That being said my opinion is that this new offense oriented staff will try their best to pick BOffensivePA to add help for Young.

#1 Young (I'm 100% in) nuff said

#39 Torrence by your example, BUT he's not likely to be at 39 since he is now considered a 1st rounder. All 6 of the top WRs should be gone at #39 so Gibbs would absolutely be the pick (occasionally put him in any WR position and he would be a field stretcher with his explosive speed). If both of the above are gone then either of those two scrappy LBs would be BPA.

#93 Spears would be a decent pick here if no Gibbs . . . We'll have to have another decent RB since Sanders gets beat up apparently and it seems like there are numerous upgrades to Chuba in this RB class. I'd say WR Reed, CB Ricks, or ED Young if they were upgrades, but IMO they wouldn't be.

#114 Miller (if no Gibbs or Spears). Vorhees (assuming no Torrence) even though he might not be playable until the second half of the season. He would be great value here IF he's expected to make a full recovery.

#132 Rice if no WR yet. Oluwatimi or Ekiyor would be good here if we have not picked an OL yet this would be the place to add an upgrade in talent to our O-line

#145 I like Patterson here. I also like Bigsby over Tucker if still no RB to share load with Sanders. . .. however neither is probably a Chuba upgrade so . .. Washington . .. especially if still no WR (BTW he was ALL the way down at 235 on this list ???)

As you might guess since there are 5 of them listed above, I feel like this class of interior O-linemen has significant talent and we would benefit from a couple of young inexpensive probable upgrades. .. especially since it will be paramount to keep Youngs uniform clean. )

Because of injuries to our guards, O'Torrence is certainly a good option. For me, him, because of those injuries at G, or an Edge guy is first out of the box.
Vorhees, if he had no been injured during combine, would have been a good pick, but taking an injured guard when we have two had me pass.
I love Spears, he or Miller will be fine for me

1 (1) QB Bryce Young, Alabama
2 (39) LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas
3. (93) CB Eli Ricks, Alabama
4. (114) TE Will Mallory, Miami
4. (132) WR Rashee Rice, SMU
5. (145) DE Andre Carter, Army

I had thoughts also about Sanders. Pick 39 was a tough one, could have gone about 5 directions

I was tempted to take the cowards way out and post a my mock vs what will happen but here goes

What will happen:

1-1 Young BAMA- I worry Tepper will get stupid and push the Levis button but young has everything you want and if he were 4 inches taller the panthers would've had to move Burns to get him.
2-39 Felix Anudike-Uzomah DE/OLB KSTATE it sucks that after we did that all defense draft we're still filling holes on the on the first level
3-93 AT Perry WR Wake Forest- Bit of a reach but he's a potential guy
4-114 Max Duggan minicamp MVP TCU-Congratulations, Frank, you've got your own little Taysom.
4-132 CB Kyu Blue Kelly, Stanford- CB depth seems to be an annual issue but we'll fix that by getting another son of a divisional rival player.
5-145 Dee Winters LB TCU- Chase down kicks, son

Oh and never forget:

Mock that will make you hate life itself if being a Panthers fan hasn't already:
1 (6) Ikem Ekwonu. Don't get too excited. He's dropped from tackle week 3 and getting starts at guard for an injured Christenson after the bye.
2 (35) Matt Corral. This buys the coach/GM 2 more years. It costs next years 1st and 3rd
4 (137) Running back
5 (144) Corral trade
6 (199) Corner safety to run down kicks
7 (242) Linebacker/edge rush type with one move and no upside.

I like it except for Duggan. I might have popped in a RB there
