You know there was a time I would say anyone but Atlanta or Denver, but I don't care if Denver does it. I personally felt Fox was too inflexible although all the other behind the organization crap may have made everyone get in a pissing contest like the Repubs & Dems right now who knows.

While people complain about Rivera being a stone, I felt Fox sometimes crossed the line into being too emotional. Like when folks bitched about Delhomme "pitching a fit", Fox did the same at times. Rivera even said he's very emotional - I think he's just someone like me who keeps a lot of it "inside" because you still have to make decisions and be a positive leader. Instead of having a hissy about a call not going your way, move on to the next play to counter that "bad call". I think he's just trying to figure out how to be a solid leader and it's going to be a work in progress. But considering he played for Ditka who wears everything on his sleeve and then some, maybe he has some knowledge about how being overly emotional doesn't necessarily help the team. I don't know just specualtion. But I do like very much his acknowledgement of mistakes made and saying he's learning as he goes.

Peyton Manning has lost in the first round 7 out of 11 times.

I don't think Peyton has ever had a top 5 defense to compliment him.

They do look very sharp. Manning looks like he's having a blast. I felt like he was going through the motions towards the end in Indy, even during their last Super Bowl year. Maybe Fox's swagger is rubbing off.

#1 in 2007, #2 in 2005, #7 in 2002, #7 in 2008, and #8 in 2009. Surprised the hell out of me to see that. In any case, Peyton's playoff failures have mostly been about him choking and turning the ball over rather than the defense giving up a lot of points. I also think you can run on the Broncos.

You just made me look pretty fucking stupid. I had no idea Indy was ever ranked that high defensively.

I still like their chances at home.

Well, their yards rankings weren't as good, but I never understood why TV mentions yards rankings instead of points. And yeah, I had absolutely no idea either. I only looked it up because you asked.
