Good thing we shut down tight ends.

 

good thing he can't stay healthy. he's a f*cking soldier!

 

we have a couple guys on staff who know him pretty well. Let the Bucs spend their money.

 

i have all but give up my hopes for a kick ass TE... it'd be huge for Jake

 

It'll be interesting to see and hear what the people up here (radio and newspapers) have to say about Winslow leaving the Browns.

Also, I saw something in the Columbus Dispatch this morning about the new regime in Cleveland aren't that enamoured with Brady Quinn nor Derek Anderson. It'll be interesting to see what happens with those two.

With new blood at the top of the Cleveland Browns hierarchy, there is talk that quarterback Brady Quinn no longer has a lock on the starting job. ProFootballTalk.com reported that a "source with knowledge of the dynamics in Cleveland" said coach Eric Mangini and general manager George Kokinis are "lukewarm" on Quinn, the Dublin native and former first-round pick.

Because neither Mangini nor Kokinis has to justify the decisions to draft Quinn or to sign Derek Anderson, the prevailing theory is that they would hang onto Anderson and let the quarterbacks compete for the starting job.

 

I'm astonished that more people don't realize how badly he can suck.

 

word over at si.com is bucs gave up their 2nd and 5th to get him...which seems a bit much to me at least.

 

In truth Moose is a TE.

 

Winslow was Cleveland's best receiver, so this is somewhat surprising. He is much, much more of a threat than Jeremy Shockey ever was, so I doubt this will be the same kind of bust-trade.

 

He can do damage for sure, wish he'd gone somewhere else.
