Will this effect how much Sauerbrun wants?

I wouldn't think so... kickers generally earm more than punters do, I believe.

I doubt it, Saurbrunn wants to be the highest paid punter. On a side note, the Elam deal may have some impacts in Indianapolis. I think VanderJagt and his agent may want to approach the Colt's about new deal. Surely he should be paid at the level of Elam and he has to play with a timid quarterback and for a timid coach. He deserves some more cash.

Vanderjagt will be cut very soon. That's the rumor, and it's on the news sites.

Colts | Vanderjagt Could Be Gone Soon - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
5:16 PT: Updating previous reports, the Indianapolis Star reports Indianapolis Colts PK Mike Vanderjagt could be packing his bags soon. ESPN NFL analyst Chris Mortensen has said he is surprised Colts president Bill Polian hasn’t cut Vanderjagt yet, and expects the move to come in the next week or so. Cutting Vanderjagt before June 1 would cost the team $750,000 against the 2003 salary cap. If they cut him after June 1, they would be able to split the $750,000 salary cap hit over the next two seasons.

well to be honest he's an upgrade over Graham... and we don't have a pussy coach... then again we don't really have a QB period... so if we get a non-pussy QB :D ....he could be a major improvement
