Who's your team?

I've been teased this week cuz I cheered on Notre Dame last Saturday against Michigan. I was called a bandwagon jumper (never mind the fact I'm from Chicago, only 90 min from South Bend).

So, I ask you, who's your team? Rank your top 5 or 10 here.

My list

1. Chicago Bears
2. Any U of Illinois team
3. Notre Dame football (except the Davie years)
4. Chicago Bulls (with and without MJ)
5. Duke basketball
6. Chicago baseball (South Sider, but can't help but love the Cubs)
7. Chicago Blackhawks
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (I lived in Tampa and they grew on me and alstott's from chicago area - jameel cook an Illini)
9. K.C. Chiefs (dunno why)
10. tie Carolina Panthers (local team)/UNC basketball (it gave us MJ)

mediafreak, i'm sorry, but no matter who gives you who, you can't like carolina AND duke, EVER. that being said, it goes like this:

2. Panthers football

I watch college football, but really don't have a team. Not much to get hooked into.

i have no reason to hate either duke or UNC. Coach K is from near my neighborhood (sadly tho, he's a GOP booster). UNC, well, MJ says it all

heh... yeah, i wanna see what they'll do. they've got some good young talent. I had pau gasol on my fantasy team last year and liked what i saw, so i'm gonna keep an eye on him.

who you pull for is based on your fantasy teams? shit, i have daunte culpepper and brett favre on my teams, and i'll be damned if i pull for either one's teams.

No, not really. But I try to watch those teams that I have players on and I inevitably grow interested in them. Basketball is a bit different than football because there's only 5 guys out there for each team and they're more accessible as individuals than they are in football. Also, you've only got like 15 guys on your roster so it's easy to follow them... dunno how many are on a fantasy football team, but given that you've got all the games on at the same time on sunday, it's probably not easy to watch all your players (or even most of them).


I started following the Hornets because of the Eddie Jones trade. I don't bother with his career anymore, but I started to like the Hornets. I guess I feel like I know the team or something. I like the clips cuz they're exciting and I'm gonna keep an eye on the grizz cuz they're up and coming.

The lakers are a default because they're local and always on tv... and of course, they play the most games. But they're boring, really, so I only watch them when nothing else is on.
