"who do you see knocking the bucs off in the NFC"

answer: "the rams, maybe the eagles, but my darkhorse (YELLS)

i just think that other than the charlotte area there just aren't too many panthers fans and typically, most people vote for their favorite teams on those polls.

Right now, ESPN is still featuring the Offseason Power Rankings that they wrote up right after the draft, which ranks the Panthers at # 25! I can't wait to see the Panthers turn that ranking upside down.

Panther fan here in Virginia. Always have been. I usually just read and never post anything. I was actually with you guys on the other board back in the day, right when Dukey joined. I remember laughing my ass off at some of those posts. My name on that board was PantherFromVA.

Anywho...

I'm excited about the game Sat. night. Even if I live in VA., my hate for the Redskins runs deep. I hope the Panthers finally beat them.

We are going to get a shot at instance respect in week 2. We need to beat Jax at home but that 4pm at Tampa could be huge for us. If we can somehow steal that one - we are in very good shape for a run. Then you'll be hearing all the analysts jumping the bandwagon.

We should have beaten Tampa last season and IMO we are much better - but how much better is Tampa???

The Panthers are legit contenders for the playoffs and therefore for the Super Bowl in todays NFL.

The only question mark is the a huge one. QB.
