Is it just me or is anyone else nauseated by the thought of the patriots being the SB favorites for the next 20 (or even two!) years?! What's the deal with all the "Patriots Conflict" bullshit that ESPN has started pushing? If you have a bunch of free time to read Seth Wickersham's recent piece go ahead. It actually has me thinking that the NE brain-trust commissioned that to try and whip bullshit into butter just for a little of that patriot playoff time advantage (like they need it). Good luck getting any other team to buy into some false sense of security that the pats might be "on the brink of falling apart"

I definitely don't think that ESPN article is fake news. Belichick loved Garoppolo, and as a pragmatist he knows full well that Brady has another year or two left. It's also completely plausible and rational that Belichick would be irate over his players seeing Brady's hack of a trainer instead of the team's trainers.

It's also easy to forget how big of a clown Bob Kraft was before he struck oil with Beluchick. Kraft fired Pete Carroll - who made the playoffs twice in three years, and was 8-8 the other year - and essentially forced Bill Parcells out after Parcells led them to a Super Bowl. It doesn't surprise me that he would veto Bill Belichick.
