After six weeks who do you think has the best shot at winning it all? We can all be homers and say the Panthers but besides them.

In the AFC I like the Steelers. They have struggled a bit but they have had a lot of injuries. If they get healthy by the end of the year they are going to be tough to beat. Big Ben is a tough SOB.

Other teams I like in the AFC. The Colts seemed to have turned things around with that win against the Ravens. The Titans play great defense but I can not see Kerry Collins or Vince Young taking them all the way.

In the NFC it is wide open. The Panthers have as good a shot as anyone but I would probably have to go with the Redskins right now. They have beaten Dallas and Philly. That loss to the Rams was a classic trap game. The Giants are tough too but how do you lose that bad to Cleveland? The Cards are looking good, if Warner stays healthy all year they are going to be in the mix.

Steelers O-line is not super bowl quality.

It's a wide open year. Teams that were supposed to contend, like Jacksonville, Philly, and Cleveland, have key injuries and have dug big holes in their own division. There is no dominant team. The ones with the best records have obvious flaws, so a .500 team like San Diego or New Orleans could end up being in great shape if they find some consistancy.

Basically, any team that can make the playoffs will have a shot.

I think the jags have the best potential to get hot late, FWIW.

They've struggled to maintain their identity. They've lost their interior offensive line, which is significant for a team of their style. Under the circumstances, Garrard is doing a hell of a job this year.

As for us, when everything aligns we can play as well as any team in the league. The problem is horrible special teams and an inconsistant running game.

Agreed. Way to freaking early to start crowning anyone. Everyone is flawed. We have one undefeated team right now, the 5-0 Titans. The old men down in Florida may be popping champange early this year.

Just to take one team B&B mentioned, if San Diego can rediscover their pass rush like they did last week, they could go.

Absolutely. Granted, they did it against Matt Cassell, but they could end up running away with that division. Remember, they started 5-5 last year and won the division before the season was over.

BTW, Cassell has done a decent job but there's an unbelieveable drop off between him and Brady, especially around the goal line.

He's not as quick a decision maker, at all. Of course, he hasn't played a meaningful snap in 6 years.

He's taking a lot of hits whenever his primary read is gone.

That goal line sequence though, a lot of blame can be dished to that line. Koppell got worked by the nose guard.
