This guy is so embarrassing it makes me sick. A once proud program is reduced to a laughing stock. Here's what should happen TODAY.

1-Clear the decks. Gone are Lutz and Moxley. Sorry, but this dynamic duo are bringing nothing but heartache to the program. I'm 2 years removed from giving a damn about the actual team so I don't know who becomes coach in that scenario. But I don't care either. And some retards will say what about the recruits. See below.

2-Send signal to any signed recruits that the regime is changing and they can stay or go. Period. I have no confidence whatsoever in the quality of guys in terms of play or character that have been signed by this regime. They've now missed on countless local guys and just went 0-for-2 on the Curry boys. Not sure today, but the the youngest was averaging around 20 a game for Liberty a week or two ago. Yeah, he wasn't good enough to play for us either. What a joke.

3-Begin the process of somehow getting back into CUSA. We're gonna have football. We were a charter member. They will let us back in, somehow, some way. Give us hope for the future. This conference is back. I never knew how much I would miss it.

4-Watch closely the rest of the way. What 2nd or 3rd assistant is ready to make a name for himself? Whoever it is, grab him in the off-season. Give him his 200k salary and watch him go for a couple years. Repeat this process in 2011.

I spent 16 years with that program and am in my second boycott season until Lutz is gone. He has completely destroyed everything Mullins and Watkins built here. I'm not alone. I know many long time supporters who have stepped away out of protest. Some will never come back. I may not either.

Judy Rose is partly to blame by fucking over Watkins then extending Lutz twice for no good reason and both times after he made it clear he was not committed to the program by trying to get out.

That's because you haven't been through all this before. Fans your age are spoiled because you came in when we were good.

A lot of us have seen this all before and don't have the desire to do it again. I've watched this program go through the growing pains and countless horrific seasons and then watched Mullins and Watkins grow it into a quality program only to have Judy Rose and Bobby Lutz send us back to the 80's.

The only difference between now and then is that at least we play on campus now. We used to have to suffer though this horseshit while driving back and forth to Independence arena.

All the idiots who think football is a good idea should take a good look at the situation we are in now. A bad coach is holding a school hostage because they cannot afford to fire him.

I started following Charlotte basketball in 1993-94. I won't pretend to have been following the program forever, but I have seen a lot.

I don't begrudge anyone who doesn't want to suffer through it, I certainly don't enjoy this. But they are still my school.
