Went to my first Checkers game last night

I thought it was pretty decent.


Saw a couple of fights, lots of goal scoring and...and....that's pretty much it.


Still doesn't compete with the NFL, college football/basketball...

Minor league hockey is pretty cool. We have an ECHL team here in Fresno, too, and my wife and I used to be huge fans. She had season tickets for about 7 years. We haven't gone very much for the last couple of years, but we may start going again soon.

That wasn't a good game to base an opinion on. Give it another try sometime.

And no..you didn't see any fights. You saw a few scraps and you saw a guy turtle. There were not any fights.

no but its here in town, and fairly cheap. I think its a good time.
