Two specific issues -

First - What team does Vick end up on in the future (maybe even next season) IF his attorneys save him from jail time?

The guess for me is Jerry Jones or Snyder would throw the most cash at him regardless of how well Romo and Campbell do this year. They are some glutinous SOBs

Second - What are your predictions (based on the type of college coach Petrino was) for the falcons this season?

I think they have plenty of talent on D, and with an improved O-line Dunn and Norwood should be slippery. They also picked up Mughelli (though more of a blocking back) and that 235 lb Snelling kid has some upside as an inside runner apparently. IMO they could go 8-8 despite all the turnover and turmoil.

They're fucked. People are understating how much losing Vick will hurt, not only because of how good he is, but also because of how much Harrington sucks. Their blocking scheme doesn't match their running backs, and I don't think the receivers will be much better. Defenses will be keying on Crumpler, forcing Harrington to take shots downfield and that isn't his strongsuit. I think they'll be okay on defense, but they still look weak against the pass and they'll get worn-down by a sputtering offense.

I can't see them doing better than 6-10. I don't consider them a "bye week" now, and it's hard to predict exactly what will happen in an NFL season, but I know they're a hell of a lot easier to defend without Vick.

first-Mean Machine
second-ATL is 6-10 No QB (Ken Lucas told me that Carr would have been his pick-when they were looking at both Carr and Harrington--because Harrington is basically clueless).

I am just dreading the thousand of Vick stories/expose's we will have go through durning the season. Ya da ya da. You know the media is already working up their 'special' reports etc.

yep, and i hope they are still able to distract the falcons team and management, and aggravate their fans. :20_3_5:

Someone on SI or somewhere mentioned that Vick could end up being the face of Mark Cuban's new competitor league. If he's found not guilty, then that would make a lot of sense. Or course if he's convicted then he'll be playing for USP Atlanta.

I could see him being in Cuban's league, but not the 'face' of it.

He's radioactive. They'd need a face that wasn't radioactive.

Anyway - not like I know how to be a billionaire.
