Upgrading the Laptop HD....possible stupid question

I should be getting a new HD from Newegg on Monday for one of our laptops. What's the EASIEST way to switch this out?

All my programs are on the existing drive....including Windows...

How do I get all my shit on the new one?

Order an external USB case for a laptop drive, your new drive will need OS installed and then you can access your data on your old drive via USB
