OK. This is getting rather overbearing.


The defense made plays for 3 quarters. We laxed up too much. It's happened before.

But the defense in the end made a play to fucking win. A couple, actually.

In fact, the defense was why we got the lead in the first place. We had good field position, got a turnover in their territory to set up a score, and then took another away to keep them from scoring.

So before we start bemoaning our pathetic defense, it ended up better than what happened to Tampa a couple of years ago. Ours had two mintutes to keep Brett Favre out of FG range. Two minutes, and they had 25 yards to get. They didn't.

Defense made the play to win.

i don't remember. did the packers have their cheerleaders blocking for farve in that game too?

but yeah. it was a win. hope lives. gamble made a hell of a play. hope lives. the offense scored a lot of points. how ever dim the hope feels at the moment, there is hope. and that feels a helluva lot better than if we had blown that lead.
