Sunday, I will give birth to another beautiful son, Tye Hill.
On a serious note, this is one of the weaker secondaries we will face this year. Fakhir Brown is out, and they have Lenny Walls and Ron Bartell backing up Hill. OJ Atogwe at FS is vunerable. Chavous can ball.
Be interesting to see Carriker, and how it affects our run game.
Personally, calling the plays, I would come out in a TE/HB/3W package, and spread the field from the gun. You get the personnel matchup you want, and you go no-huddle early. This would counter everything we've shown in the preseason. We didn't open up like this, but v. NE in 2005, after the big play to Troy Brown and subsequent TD, we came out in the same formation. Foster caught a 20 yard stop fade on 3rd down, and we hit Proehl long down the post. That changed the flow of the whole game, and it gave Delhomme ownership of the offense for a series--which he can do at times.
I just don't see us coming out and ponding STL. I hope we can, but I'm not optimistic.
