On the bubble for sure. There was a pic of him on charlotte.com with a note on his helmet- anyone know what that was about?

I'm biased as Tufts is a Boulder grad.....

Ciurciu is light years ahead of him (IMHO) and he might not make the roster.

Tufts is a nice kid. I spoke to him last year at training camp briefly. He seems to have a good attitude. He may not stick here but I think he will somewhere.

i dunno. i thought Tufts mite have a better shot than Vinnie due to him being better on ST. Seward (? rook LB) will probably beat Vinnie out for backup MLB based on the reports we've been getting.

I have high hopes that Seward will develope into the run stuffer we very badly need. They say he hits like a train.

Hurney just singled out Tufts as standing out in camp.

I've seen a couple of camp pics that make Tufts look very good in pass coverage over the short middle. He batted a pass away from Goings (I think) that looked almost like a DB play. I was impressed.

I mentioned that in my camp notes too, but I don't know if it will be enough for him to stay on the roster.
