no. Right now I wouldn't put Tebow in the 1st, and he's super raw. I don't think anyone needs to be told that offense makes guys look better than they are.
Not that he's Alex Smith, but time in a pro offense gives you an idea of what type pro player he is. Making real reads, from the pocket, without gimmicks, without shotgun, is a big deal. If teams were running the funky 80s offenses still, maybe. We still run a funky offense from the early 50s so I doubt it.
Plus, while we may or may not like him, they really like McCown, and I doubt they've given up on Moore. I do believe that it's a good time to bring a QB in, while we're somewhat young and deep, and while Delhomme still has a couple years, but I don't know that we would.
