I think we he'd be great. 8 overall is so rich for a te. There is depth available, but that doesn't necessarily mean someone you want will be available in the 5th. Talent will go early.
Of the prospects I'm not sure the smaller slot tes really fit that well which will limit the options some.
Howard at 8 is a tough pill to swallow, but he's probably pretty safe. Would depend on who is available.

O.J. Howard is the exact opposite of safe. As I said in the other thread, his production in the two games against Clemson came against busted coverages where the defense didn't cover him at all. He has immense physical talent but the tape isn't good. You could even excuse him not getting many catches at Alabama, but they didn't use him in the red zone either. Taking at him at #8 would be insane, both because he's a huge risk and because this class of tight ends is very deep. A lot of fans of various teams are dreaming about Jake Butt in the middle rounds because of how the injury dropped him, but I think he was a little overrated anyway. Leggett is an Olsen-type player in terms of his subtle movements to create separation and his soft hands. I also like the Belk shoplifter, Jeremy Sprinkle. He's a stout blocker who reportedly had no drops during his college career and looked pretty fluid in Combine drills. Those guys and others will be available in the 4th or 5th round.

Mixon didn't slap a woman, he punched her in her face and broke it in numerous places. And he did it because he's a punk piece of shit bitch who was trying to pick on a gay dude. It was not a situation where Mixon was being hounded by an aggressive woman and he finally had enough. Mixon was the aggressor. Mixon is human filth who shouldn't be allowed to get millions of dollars to play a game. Mixon should be suiting up for Citrus State Prison.
