Who would have ever thought that at the beginning of last year?
It was nice to see Moose hang on to a tough TD. Smith looks better than he did last year. Proel had a nice grab to start the game. Colbert had a SICK two-handed snag over the middle. I'm digging it big time. It was nice to see us pass all over the Gints, and then run all over them when we wanted to.
I'll say this, I was unsure how Steve Smith would react to "getting paid." I was unsure how he could possibly stay healthy with the hits he was prone to take returning kicks and fighting for yards. But Smithy has proven a lot to me. To quote Kill Bill 2, Smithy....he's the man...

I suspect Smith's intensity, treating the pre-season and practices like the real thing, is getting the rest of the WRs worked up. Hopefully, his energy and intensity is/will be contagious.

Well, I wince sometimes with Smith like that hurdle trying to get in the endzone - Steve, LOVE your passion and intensity, but my god don't get injured in a meaningless game PLEASE. I don't think we'll ever see a drop off in Smith's intensity. This guy has a permanently attached chip on his shoulder and a huge passion for the game. :applause:
