Black&Black
Delivering Smiles
Things I liked:
- Heinicke looked good again, when he had a chance to throw. I still expect us to acquire a vet if something serious happens to Cam. Gotta give the young man credit, though. I ranked him as the best of the backups at camp, by the way.
- Mose has outplayed our first round pick. Receiver will be an agonizing decision. It's going to be tough to keep Frazier and/or Byrd on the practice squad.
- Artis-Payne might be a better fit for what appears to be more of an east/west running scheme. I wonder if we've already made the decision to trade Anderson. It was strange to suddenly treat him like a starter tonight while he's been spending the last few weeks running 3rd team.
- I'm pleased with the development of Hall. He's quietly had a solid summer after lost rookie year. We might carry 5 DEs, considering Peppers is no longer a full timer.
- Week one is 9 days away.
Things I hated:
- These flags are no longer about player safety. They're about feminizing a man's game. Stop it. Stop it, or I'll stop watching. I'm fucking serious.
- Okay, Reggie Bonnafon. Panther fans are in love with him because he almost ran down a linebacker. Come on. Nearly doing your job successfully while also catching a bunch of checkdowns doesn't merit a spot. Sorry. I don't "GOTTA LOVE THAT". It's your god damn job. DO YOUR GOD DAMN JOB. You hear me, you fucking faggots?
- Matt Kalil.
- Hurney says he likes Garrett Gilbert's skill set. What skill set? Where are the skills in that set? If you want to say you like his set, that's perfectly fine. There is no Garrett Gilbert skill set.
- The white jersey needs white pants. Maybe....maybe blue pants, if you're feeling adventurous. I do like experimenting in preseason, but now, it's probably time to take the xbox controller away from Cam.
- We gave up 39 points. Fuck that shit. I don't care who's playing, that's 22 points too much.
- On the fence about Gauldin. He's flashed good moments, and really bad moments. Tackling looks like an issue with him. I hope Searcy is available for Dallas.
