Let me say that while I am a rabid Falcon fan, I am not above coming down on my team when they stink it up. Yes, I will be pulling for them the rest of the year, yes I will keep going to the games and yes I am pissed off at their play today. There is simply no freak’n excuse for those first two quarters. While Walter Jones is an exellent pro-bowl offensive lineman, Pat Kerney looked just plain stupid against him. Is Jones that inhuman or is Kerney over-rated? Man…he sucked it up. And Rod Coleman? Where the heck was he? Did he make the trip? Was he on the sidelines? Was he selling beer in the stands? Where was he? Ok, so Brady Smith may be a more important element of this defensive line then I have given him credit for. Coleman and Kerney just looked like toddlers out there without him. Pat Kerney looked like an idiot out there falling down, getting back up and falling down again against Jones. What a joke. And what the heck happend to Deangelo Hall? Man, the first two quarters he looked like he couldnt cover his own shadow. He was giving the Seattle receivers way too much room. If he would have pulled that Monday night, T.O. would have owned him. I will say the defense stiffened up the second half..but by that time the game was over. We should have had a better gameplan to get at Hasslebeck. When he is pressured…he does make mistakes. Ugly ones. Instead, we gave him forever in the pocket and in the first half he picked us apart. In the last half we started blitzing more and he sucked it up (They didnt score again!). Why couldnt we have tried that earlier before it was 21-0? And what about our crappy offense? Jenkins is a joke. Ok, so he caught a crucial 58 yard pass last week..good for him. What happened this week? Heck, he dropped at least three crucial passes that would have really made a difference in this game. Back to the old Jenkins..last week was obviously an illusion. This team is crazy if they think they can compete against all of these playoff teams in the coming weeks. Get ready for a losing year guys. I hate to say it but it is true. There is nothing these guys showed me this week that makes me feel good about the upcoming weeks. Carolina seems to have gotten it together in their win over the Patriots. In my opinion, they are the team to beat in the NFC South. Oh, and the Bucs looked pretty good too with their new running back and 2-0 start. See all of you in September of 2006. This year is over. Peace.

Matthew..shut the heck up. If people want to gripe when the team screws up..let them. I am a 10 year season ticket holder and yes, I have an opinion and no, it may not be the one you want to hear. If you think what I said in my comments was hurting your sensitive eyes…its a good thing your virgin ears weren’t in the Falcon’s locker room after the game…your poor little heart would have fainted from the comments of Jim Mora and staff. The team f—ked it up and you can get over your freak’n denial. Nobody, not even you loves this team more than me..I have spent a heck of a lot of money watching them over the years..I have taken all the bad and the good. But I have never been more disappointed by a lack of effort as what I saw in the first 2 quarters. I want the team to get past the “one good game, one sucky game” mentality. If we are to get over this never winning two seasons in a row crap, we have got to end what happened today. There is simply no excuse. (and I am confident Mora said the same thing in the locker room right after). Does that man you will come down on him for saying only what is true? Wake up Matthew. Your about as alert as the Falcons were.

Matthew stays till the end of the game and drives a geothermal powered car. :imagestor
