the white sox get Bartolo Colon

colon is officially with the sox. this is a great deal for the sox, they needed another strong starter behind mark buehrle, and man did they get one. i think the only impact player the sox lost was jeff leifer, but i dont mind, the sox have more hitters than they know what to do with
itll be a good year in chicago for baseball fans, the cubbies are loaded this year....im hoping for a chicago world series, but of course it would be the sox in four

white sox fans have to be happy with this trade. in colon they get a guy who will compliment Buerle and help bolster a young staff of righties. kenny williams will get the #2 starter he thought he got last year in Todd Ritchie. on another note, i am glad that Jeff Leifer will get a chance to play everyday. he has a lot of potential...now the expos will hope that he fulfills it.

Media, don't give up on carlos lee just yet. he has not shown the promise of his first two years suggest. but he started to make some nice adjustments late last year that i think will help him get back to those .290-25-100 type numbers everyone thought he would put up.

fine. but like someone said, they got plenty of firepower. how about some defense? lee isn't known for his prowess out there.

i actually prefer having borchard and rowand in the outfield. eventually. not sure if next year is it tho.

and crede needs to adjust his attitude a bit. he reminds me of that kid from 'Major League 3: Back to the Minors.'
