But this is where Nelson comes in. I think he could succeed with it.
As for the predictability, we're talking about a team with a minimum amount of plays, that tends to always use the first option in a passing play, and tends to mix it up with formation rather than actual innovation or difference. A team that's pretty obvious about what it does.
Seeing Green Bay and Oakland do it with some success suggests that, as a formation adaptation, it's something we could do well with. Nelson can get to the second level, can pin the DE inside, and can do something other than be the second level return guy inside.
