Clay Aiken Scheduled to Perform at 49ers Game vs. East Carolina
Top Recording Star To Appear in Conjunction With Bobble Head Day

Halton Arena - Signature Sports Group, Inc., the marketing arm of the Charlotte 49ers, has confirmed that national recording artist Clay Aiken is scheduled to appear at the 49ers' Conference USA men's basketball matchup with East Carolina, Saturday, Jan. 10, at Halton Arena.
The game had been set as Clay Aiken Bobble Head Day, as the 49ers sought to honor the music sensation who graduated from the university, Dec. 20, 2003.
Aiken, who rose quickly to fame following a finalist appearance in the hit TV show "American Idol", had his first album, "Measure of a Man", debut at #1. Aiken has been popular on the talk show circuit, has performed at athletic events such as the World Series and the Rose Bowl and has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
Tickets for the game are available by calling the 49ers athletic ticket office at 704/687-4949 during regular business hours or can be purchased on-line at charlotte49ers.com under the "tickets" link.
A total of 9,105 Clay Aiken Bobble Head Dolls will be given away FREE to fans attending the Conference USA matchup while supplies last, compliments of Food Lion and Healthy Choice. As in the past with the Food Lion/Healthy Choice Bobble Head Series, all attendees will be encouraged to show their Food Lion MVP Card when they enter the Halton Arena doors. Each fan who presents a game admission ticket will be limited to one (1) Clay Aiken Bobble Head Doll.
