Primeau is the shee-ot, don't mess with him. I watched him play juniors for the Niagara Falls Thunder back in the day. I just don't think he liked your franchise much is all...at that time the average attendance was 5,000 and no market...could you really blame teh guy

I've been a fan of hockey since around 85/86. That would put me at 12/13 yrs old since I started to paying attention to it. Before the Hurricanes moved here I was a somewhat Flyers fan because of location (closest team) but once the Whalers moved here... bikity bam... Hurricanes for life.

My first minor league game was in 93, when I saw the now defunct ECHL team, the Hampton Roads Admirals play the Erie Panthers. I was in heaven.
