THE HERD on ESPNRADIO

Colin Cowherd has replaced Tony Kornheisers in the ESPNRADIO lineup (10am-1pm ET) this week . . . Today was the first time I got to hear his show. So far, its pretty good. He takes more phone calls (Tony K rarely took any near the end of his run on ESPNRADIO), does a SPANNING THE GLOBE segement (he has sportstalk jocks from a few cities each day talk briefly about the hot topic in their city) and does a Gerry V like COURT OF LAW segement (several callers chime in on a hot topic that he has brought up: Today's topic was should Norte Dame lower academic standards to bring more atheletes into the school). Anybody else check this show out yet ? ? ? ?

talked about the Red Sox, Nomar out, Trot Nixon injury, Curt Schilling being the ace but every vocal and the Patriots, didn't catch all of that. Didn't hear Packman.

I like Herd okay so far. He repeat some features, but it's better than Dan Patrick and Jim Rome. I liked the Judy Woodruff, hot older woman line the other day.

Dan Patrick is okay most days but...

he climbs on his high horse too much and takes a holier than thou attitude that is annoying. If I want to hear that kinda crap I would listen to rush or al franken.
