well, did anyone else tune in to see what this looked like without any faces you've seen before?
just reading the nominees off and announcing who won.
very decrescendo.
i turned over to tvguide's post globe coverage. they were struggling, too, to make sense of it all.
they got david duchovney -- who won for his work on californication -- at a hotel room in vancouver. he didn't watch the coverage, opting instead for a viewing of 'bucket list' at the theater across the street.
he didn't even know he was on live tv and dropped the f-bomb twice. he said, "we're not on live or anything, are we?"
they asked him how he was going to get his award -- fedex maybe? he said next year he's going to give his acceptance speech right before he presents the award to the 2009 winner.
and, of course, they didn't get to talk about anyone being the best or worst dressed.
