The Defense

Despite having some breakdowns in pass coverage, the defense came to play in the second half and I think it was reactive to the playcalling. Trgo/fox called a brilliant 2nd half, and the players began to show life.

Excellent attacking defense. We blitzed more this second half than we have all year. And Buck gets a pick, damn.

 

[Savio]

Maybe this game is what our defense needed....

we'll see how they play next week....


Cards beat the Giants....

 

[Piper]

Helped to cover for a leacky secondary. Gamble had a rough day.

On the plus side, we got pressure and whether it was Fields or WW, they actually covered the LB. Allen couldn't, and neither could Minter.

Now let's see if we can do it again.
