As Derek Jeter said "the ghosts will come out eventually."They did and the Red Sox must live another year with the curse upon them.

The Red Sox lose to the Yankees for the 16th time in Pedro's 26 starts against the Yankees. He just can't figure out how to beat the Yankees.

All Red Sox fans can join the Braves fans with their favorite phrase "Wait til next year."

So it was pure luck those other 10 times? I remember a seventeen strikeout performance. I remember the 99 ALCS was the Yankees only loss of the post season.

I just think it is ironic that Pedro, considered by many the best pitcher in the game today has had such luck against the Yankees .Boston is 10-16 in Pedro's starts against the Yankees.Against other teams Pedro is lights out.

It must be part of the curse.

i don't have the time to look up the stats, but i'd be interested to know how many of those 16 team losses were due to the bullpen losing a lead.

with that said, up until last week i thought the whole curse thing was total BS. however, after watching what happened to the cubs on tuesday and wednesday, and then the red sox on thursday i'm not so sure. especially that cubs deal. how can there NOT be curses after witnessing that.
