Let me say first, as a Jimmy Spencer fan, that Kurt Busch is a pussy.

It sucks that Mr. Excitement will most likely not run this weekend. Not only did he have a legitimate chance to win all three races at Bristol, but NBC would by far have some of the biggest ratings in NASCAR history. Saturday night at Bristol with Spencer and Busch going at it, the site of their first altercation. Holy Shit would that be a good race to watch.

Tony Stewart get's nothing for punching an innocent bystander, but the #7 get's canned for a weekend for doing something thats been going on at race tracks for decades.

I personally think this is great for NASCAR. Just like Bobby and Cale at Daletoner. More shit will happen with these two, and if the #7 doesn't get him again, the #29 most definitely will.

i just found out last night why he got suspended. I thought he got suspended for something on the track. I thought to myself, "they have raced much worse than that before." If anyone deserved to get punched its Busch. Apparently others feel the same way since Robbie Gordon said he will pay Spencer's fine.

Busch doesn't have too many drivers as pals. While a lot of the bumping is "just one of those racin' deals," he has caused many of these problems himself.

It is a shame Spencer won't be on the track this weekend where bumping is expected.

no doubt, that sucks. at least Busch is on probation as well otherwise he'd have a free shot on Spencer the rest of the year. oh yeah, they actually go back to Phoenix before Bristol.Spencer put Busch into the wall prompting KB to call Spencer a "decrepit old has been", then said he "was a never was" N.ASCAR should def. let them duke it out a Bristol.

QCH....Spencer shouldn't have clocked him, but NASCAR went way overboard....we (you and I) know of other fisticuffs that go totally unpunished...this was stupid.

I don't know much about these 2 - other than they apparently realy hate each other. But I will say this.

It doesn't take a lot of balls to hit someone in the face while they are strapped into a race car with their helmet off.

vp, I agree hitting someone strapped in is lame, BUT according to the Observer today, they traded several profanities back and forth before it happened. I don't think he just walked up and slugged him. I would wager Jimmy said "get the hell out of your car" and Busch refused. I would of hit him too in that case. I think its fine to issue payback and wreck someone on a short track, but not at a flat superspeedway like Michigan as Busch admitted to doing on his radio in a caution. Busch has had a smartass mouth for sometime now and he is a pipsqueek, it was well deserved.
