Pasta said Sapp looks thinner than last year. This is a contract year for him, and he may be trying to prove that he, and not McFarland, deserves the big money contract.

Sapp will come to play prob harder now. Plus he won't be on the field as long as in previous years.

It ain't all about Tampa's D anymore, they have an Offense.

They averaged 35 ppg in their final 3 games against Oakland, SF, and Philly. They only gave up 12 ppg.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Warren Sapp says he is not worried over the fact the team has yet to approach him about a contract extension so far. Sapp, who is entering the final year of his contract, will be the highest paid defensive tackle in the NFL this season. "The thing I think you guys are missing is I'm not in there banging on Rich's door," Sapp said. "I signed a six-year, $36 million contract. I got $36 million out of the deal. There are 32 teams in this league. If they say no, then OK. I've got to go somewhere else. I'll be fine.''

I wonder if that has anything to do with his wife filing for divorce...the more he makes, the more she gets.
