When Smith was drafted Cam was in the 5th grade, pulling girls braids and giggling. All this “not best friends” stuff is nuts.

They had a working relationship, which is what you expect from middle-aged family man and a young single QB, presumably into girls and video games.

Reading anything negative into their relationship is nonsense and a case of reporters trying to create a story, where there is none.

Steve has one enemy on the Panthers and that is Dave Gettleman.
