Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the NFL has fined Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith $7,500 for unnecessary roughness in Sunday's, Nov. 2, game against the Houston Texans. Smith was penalized for kicking Texans' DL Jerry DeLoach in the head.
