I don't think Poole starts anymore. NE's depth chart has Randall Gay and Asante Samuel as their starters.

I still think he'd get less shit than Ben Gay (former RB, Cleveland), Craphonso Thorpe (bust), the Falcons' DeMarcus Faggins, or Thorpe's replacement, De'Cody Fagg.

We need to beat the Pats if we are really as good as everyone thought. Peppers and Rucker need to get pressure on Brady for it to happen. I would like to see them blitz Thomas Davis a lot too. He should be able to handle that.

We aren't gonna get to Brady. The offensive system dictates he gets rid of the ball in 4 seconds or less. There isn't time to reach him from the perimeter, and we don't have anyone inside anymore that can blow up the pocket.

You don't beat NE by blitzing, so this may actually play into our hands. Peppers has to get some pressure off the edge (anything from Rucker would help), but then we need to drop a lot in coverage and cover well. That last part is obviously a major question, but that's how you limit them offensively. That and stopping Corey Dillon of course.
