WHAT A JOKE! How bout' using the money for someone who needs it....

It's been a rough year for the New Orleans Saints in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, but now the league and the union have found a way to sooth at least some of the financial hardships the players have faced this season.
Sources have told FOXSports.com that union head Gene Upshaw informed the Saints players Wednesday that they would all be getting an additional $40,000 each.
The money is coming from the league's performance-based incentive program that rewards low-round picks and undrafted free agents whose play far exceeds their salaries.
Upshaw and NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue have stepped up their efforts in recent week to try and soften the bitterness felt by Saints players as a result of this disastrous season.
Several players have had run-ins with the league, feeling not enough was being done to help their plight. Starting from Week 1 up to two weeks ago, Tagliabue tried to meet with players to see what assistance the league could give.
The league may not be done figuring out ways to assist the Saints in the off-season as well as in 2006.

That doesn't bother me too much. People get bonuses everywhere.

Uhh call my boss and let him know that would ya? 4 1/2 years no bonus at any time not even the use of his PSL's. :rocktoss

Fifteen years at my job and I still get the same amount I got after one full year's service as do all the others who may have only been there one year. Sigh.
