You know I had to do it! :wavey:

"The contrast was clear again Wednesday night, as Perez watched Sele cruise through seven scoreless innings of another quality start, the Dodgers beating Colorado, 7-1, to complete another perfect series on a perfect homestand.

The win streak is now seven as the Dodgers hit the road, their first 6-0 homestand in 12 years, complete with each win one-sided. With the most potent offense in the league and a starting rotation one-upping each other, the Dodgers outscored the Angels and Rockies, 52-10, while the team ERA was 1.33."

I believe 10 in a row deserves a bump. Next 9 games are in Dodger Stadium, Maddux starts tomorrow, 2 potential rookie of the year players...does it get much better for a team right now?

MLB record, 14 out of 15 games won...now 15 out of 16. Sweep of the Giants, a 1.5 game lead on the west...adding the players we did, not to mention Maddux who went 7 innings and only gave up 2 hits, no runs on 68 pitches...Dodgers are going to make the playoffs this year...sorry Braves fans.

What a stud Nomar is...the next Paul Kenerko is James Loney...9 RBI's in one game, thats a beast. Dodgers a game back of the West, and have a slight lead over Pauls team in the wildcard. The Giants would love to play spoiler here, if our starting pitching gets us to Broxton and Saito, the ball game is over. If they make us play the bullpen more, we're screwed. Thats how it will be in the playoffs as well. Penny will miss at least one start with his bad back. 3 games in a row hes sucked.
