This is pretty odd. He came out and stated he wouldnt retire, now as camp draws near changes his mind.....but according to some Chiefs fans I know he hasnt filed the paperwork.

Hmmm, there is some speculation that he might just try to ride out the camp....but that does sound like pure homerism to me. If he is having some lingering hamstring and knee issues I can see why he would want out, but when he was out last year the Chiefs were not nearly as affective at running the ball if I remember correct.

That's the word from Pat Kirwan on Sirius -- lingering injuries. That, and wanting to spend more time with his family.
