If you needed to make a map for brochures/websites, what software would you use?

I looked at mappoint, but I'm not sure it will do what I want. I want a simple road map for major hwys, not each little side road. I need to be able to draw it for lack of a better word.
Are you saying google map programs? I did.

No I meant actually using Google. It's used fairly frequently for providing maps to businesses on their site. I guess it all you need is high level major roads you could just use a basic drawing program.

Something like this, but this isn't it. I want the transparent part.

    I 85
    I 77
    I 40
    Hwy 421
    Hwy 221
    Hwy 16
    Hwy 321

But the location is for West Jefferson, not Blowing Rock as below.... Coming from major places only... Ie...Johnson City, Charlotte, Greensobor, Hickory, Galax, VA are the major ones I can think of.

I don't want you working on this a lot or anything, I just need to know how to do it and I'll do it meeself. I know you are busy, thank you.

Here are the road signs. If you can create the map, just add these where they need to be. Try MSlive.com for a good map. Or google maps.
