quick launch taskbar

For months, I've had my taskbar on the right hand side of my screen containing the most often used programs. I rebooted the other day and now it's at the bottom where the windows default is. I can't move it. I can't drag it to the desktop even though the cursor says I am dragging it. It just never appears on the desktop or in any other positions. No, it's not locked. I can't move any new taskbars from the bottom position either.

Oh....no internet connection on this machine so it shouldn't be spyware or a virus. Any help? Google only suggests I unlock it before moving it.

Grab the vertical little bars on the right or left and drag it over to the right side. It's kinda tough to do, but I got it to work.

That's what I do. I know how I used to do it. I know that it can be done. The cursor even shows that I've grabbed it, but it won't move. Dammit, screen capture won't even let me see the cursor. Fuck fuck fuck. Why do I have to be so damn anal retentive? No gay jokes please. There are enough of them around here as it is. jokes who happen to be gay.

That's what I'm saying. It won't appear on the desktop. I get the little cursor and everything showing that I'm doing it right. Hell, I can do it on the laptop, but not the desktop.

Have you tried to grab the vertical little bars on the right or left and drag it over to the right side? That should work.
