I know a lot of people think Weinkie should be starting. Maybe he should. I would really like to see him play against the other team's starters before that decision is made.
We said the position was up for grabs but it seems pretty set that Peete is the starter. Delhomme and Weinkie have both outplayed him IMHO but neither gets a shot at the first team even when Peete has a hurt finger.
Weinkie has looked great against the backups. Delhomme is still reading the plays off his arm band. I think Weinkie deserves a better look.
