The rams expressed interest but they pick high enough to at least land Branch which is probably what they will do to address their need at DT. Tennessee needs a DT and they have extra picks (unlike KC who can't offer squat). Ten might offer us something like #80, #128, and #188 (&/or a conditional 2008 pick along with that 3rd and 6th). San Francisco is loaded with picks and they need a DT too. They might offer something a little more appealing i.e, #76, #110, and their #42 for our #45 (and maybe a conditional 2008). With his injury history and weight issue I would expect that conditional pick thing to be a part of whatever the offer might be.

Everyone here would probably rather keep a healthy/happy Jenkins than the above but maybe our staff garners enough significant concern about his future as a player to ship him out. It is probable IMO that they want to get something for him before his expense outweighs the current benefits of having him here. I wouldn't be surprised if this IS just a motivational ploy . . . I also wouldn't be surprised to see him traded if someone threw enough picks at our FO.

KC could have more ammo than you think rake. If they get what they want from Miami for Green they'll have plenty.

yeah I'd like for us to be able to swap spots (14 down to 23) too if it's part of a "StL just picked the last guy we'd consider at 14" draft day deal. However, it's still a pretty anemic looking draft class to get thrilled about having extra picks for. Maybe an added high conditional pick next year would make the move more popular.

Not alot of bluechip talent, no, but it wouldn't be a bad year to stock up on role payers and blue collar-types...a.k.a Fox guys.:lijstje:
