Yes, I picked the Raiders tonight (in all my infinite wisdom) . . . but that was based on Beuerlein and Kanell leading them to glory! Who is this damn Plummer guy? He looks a little like the guy who broke the hearts of 72,286 Carolina fans when he rallied Arizona to 10 fourth-quarter points, turning a 13-6 Panthers lead into a 16-13 defeat. Bill Gramatica nailed a 50-yard field goal with 16 seconds remaining to complete the Cardinals comeback.

Yeah, I c/p that chunk from last years game recap. I STILL hate Plummer for that.)

now you can add tonight to your list of reasons. he's the real deal, was just stuck in arizona. i still say they should run portis every down.

ps.....the raiders are getting old.

i meant just during this game. if you look closely enough you could see rice start hunkering over and walking with a gimp midway thru the first. brown was gettin measured up for an oxygen tank at the start of the 2nd. gannon, well he was picking out a rocker at the half. but you didn't hear this from me.:D

Hey and just think this is only the third game of the season, wait till they have played a few more games. Those bumbs and bruises don't start to heal as quickly with brittle bones.:D

I think Gannon has an appointment with Testaverde and Peete to go get fitted for cathaders. Flutie got his last year.)

Actually, Gannon reminded me a lot of Peete last night. Had absolutely nothing on his fast ball, and his decision making was slow as all get out. I was calling for Tui in the 2nd quarter, and I'm not even a Raider fan.

Heh, and I was thinking that Plummer reminded me a lot of Delhomme, the way he moved around the pocket like he did.

I think they really miss Jerry Porter. I have him on one of my fantasy teams and I was counting on him for some scoring. He is there only deep threat and he makes them much harder to defend. If he comes back strong the Raiders will start winning. It may be too late by then though. That suits me I do not like the Raiders to begin with.
